Ballad, Melancholic, Delicate

In Lana Del Rey's 9th studio album, Did you know that there's a tunnel under Ocean Blvd, Lana continues her mix of soft country/Americana combined with her hazy voice to create foggy soundscape that imitates a classic American aesthetic in her own font.

Rey's voice perfectly encapsulates the mix of Broadway, southern, and Atlantic voice that brings echoes us back to a time but no particular place. This generality works with well with the genre she's established herself in but does not explore beyond that. Additionally, the songs are at risk of running together and evoke a similar vibe.

Overall, a solid run for Rey but I'd love to hear voice in harder hitting songs.
